Course Information:

Help: Whenever you have a question about the course material, please feel free to drop by during my office hours or write me an email message. I also encourage you to send questions to the class mailing list and to answer any questions posed by other classmates if you feel you can assist them. If at any time you feel that you are falling behind or are overwhelmed by the material, let me know; I will be very happy to help you.

Homework:

Doing the homework is the most important part of the course. Please email the homework to me by midnight of the due date. However, please do not email non-working code! I will send you comments and give you a chance to resubmit the homework within 7 days of my email to you to improve your grade. Normally, I will only accept one resubmitted version, though there could be exceptions. When the original homework is submitted late, I will deduct 2 out of 10 points for lateness, and I will not accept homework submitted more than 7 days late. Thanks for your cooperation.

Final Exam:

Our final exam will be held Monday, December 18th from *** 10:00 to 11:50 in room TBA. There will be no make up and the final is mandatory. Do not make plans to leave the New York City area before this date.
