The Computer Science Department is housed at Warren Weaver Hall and 715/719 Broadway.
Warren Weaver Hall is on the South East corner of West 4th Street and Mercer Street
(walk East from the South end of Washington Square park for two short blocks); the
entrance in on Mercer Street. Departmental administrative offices are in Warren Weaver
Hall. To reach the Broadway building, walk East three blocks on Washington Place from
Washington Square Park and turn North (left) on Broadway. The entrance is on the left
shortly thereafter. Most of the department's research laboratories are in the 715/719

From the north or northeast, New York State Thruway, which becomes the Major Deegan
Expressway in the Bronx, to Willis Avenue Bridge, cross to F.D.R. Drive in Manhattan,
south to Houston Street, then west to LaGuardia Place (two blocks west of Broadway),
then north three blocks to Washington Square.
From the northwest, west, and south, Interstate Highway and/or New Jersey Turnpike to
the Holland Tunnel, north on Avenue of the Americas (Sixth Avenue) to West Fourth Street
and east to Washington Square; from the Lincoln Tunnel east to Seventh Avenue, then
south to West Fourth Street (at Sheridan Square), then east to Washington Square.
Take the Staten Island Ferry to Battery Park and catch the Seventh Avenue IRT to
Christopher Street-Sheridan Square (see Subway).
